Mission

The mission of the Counseling Department at Brother Rice is to provide the students with the support and information they need as they move through their four years of high
school.

Students are assigned counselors by alphabet with the exception of students in the Focus Program.

Students will remain with the same counselor throughout their four years. This system allows for a more meaningful relationship between students and counselors. It also makes for more effective recommendations when it comes to college applications or other post-high school plans.

The alphabetical arrangement makes it possible to create long-term relationships between counselors and families who send more than one son to Brother Rice. Chances are, you and your brothers will have the same counselor.

Be sure to use the resources your counselor will make available to you. Never hesitate to contact your counselor for help with any problem.
